• Support customers’ operations by ensuring large-scale papermaking equipment runs at optimum levels • Provide hands-on field service support at customer sites • Provide remote troubleshooting assistance from offices • Support other field service personnel while researching and preparing for service calls • Travel to customer facilities across North America • Participate in machine start-ups and assist with testing customer equipment for delivery in North America • Deliver service that advances customers’ production and performance • Work as part of Valmet’s North America Services team and Paper Machine Wet End group
• Strong mechanical experience and skills • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude • Hydraulic and pneumatic background is a plus • Good communication and organizational skills • Strong PC skills • Self-motivated and willing to learn new things • Ability to travel approximately 50–80% of the time, including overnight travel as needed • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Employment offer contingent upon background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen
