📋 Description

• Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant business impact • Set direction for critical technical surface areas to support rapid growth • Design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks and tooling • Build systems for purchasing, trial, renewal, checkout, self-serve upgrades, and billing integration • Develop a unified trials framework supporting try-before-you-buy experiences across Vanta • Work with engineers to improve customers' security and help them prove it • Lead and mentor engineers • Contribute to Vanta's engineering culture as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience • Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects • Previous startup experience, or experience in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action • Previous experience working on greenfield projects • Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space • Openness to using AI to amplify skills and strengthen work • Experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly
