📋 Description

• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electro-mechanical medical equipment • Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions • Manage the service territory by scheduling service calls, preventive maintenance, and travel • Maintain service documentation, maintenance records, inventory transactions, and calibrated test equipment • Plan and order parts while maintaining inventory control • Train and guide customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and inspection • Communicate with customers regarding service status, arrival times, and issue resolution • Represent Vantive professionally with customers and colleagues • Mentor and support service technicians and contribute to meetings, training events, troubleshooting guides, and best practices • Recommend service improvements and keep leadership informed of operational needs and challenges • Participate in installation projects, field actions, and assigned initiatives; lead projects as needed • Handle delicate components properly and follow hospital, environmental, health, and safety policies • Travel to clinical and stakeholder sites for technical support, training, and meetings • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in biomedical engineering, including installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices • Ability to diagnose issues, perform mechanical adjustments, and resolve complex equipment problems independently • Ability to work independently and manage an assigned territory • Strong interpersonal skills and professional, courteous conduct • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint) • Ability to work in healthcare environments while adhering to PPE protocols • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting using appropriate aids • Ability to travel 50–75%, including overnight stays; willingness to drive long distances or fly • Valid driver’s license required • Associate’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; OR associate’s degree or higher in a non-related field with 3+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience; OR BMET certification with 3+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience; OR completion of a U.S. military electrical or electrical biomedical equipment technology program • Previous field service experience strongly preferred • Alignment with Vantive’s cultural values: Care, Own it, Trust, and Innovate
