📋 Description

• Review and negotiate customer and vendor agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, information security annexes, and supplier codes of conduct • Manage a high and steady volume of enterprise contracts across major customers and vendors • Research law outside the core focus area using tools and provide fast, well-reasoned answers • Identify when to work with specialized outside counsel • Work closely with the sales team to protect the company's position without stalling momentum • Build and maintain contract templates, redline playbooks, and internal guidance • Enable lower-risk paperwork to move quickly without a full legal review every time • Own real negotiations and work directly with company leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a contract lawyer or commercial counsel • Comfortable with SaaS, enterprise, and vendor agreements • Understanding of real-world contract negotiation mechanics • Experience negotiating large, complex enterprise sales agreements • Ability to provide pragmatic, professional pushback while maintaining relationships and closing deals • Comfortable using tools to accelerate legal research and drafting, especially outside primary expertise • Bias to action and ability to provide clear answers quickly • Ability to identify real risk and determine when specialized outside counsel is needed • Some experience with international or EU commercial contract law • Startup in-house experience is a bonus • Experience with enterprise cloud, hosting, or bare metal infrastructure agreements is a bonus
