It enables dedicated, multi-tenant or private-node clusters for use cases like internal platform standardization, hybrid Kubernetes deployments, sovereign or dedicated customer environments, AI cloud providers and distributed inference. vCluster is positioned as a tooling/product solution for enterprises operating Kubernetes at scale, offering managed features, releases and integrations for internal K8s platforms and cloud-native workflows.

📋 Description

• Align business priorities and technical direction for the product surface • Translate product direction into specifications engineering can execute against • Partner directly with the Head of Product and Engineering leadership on architecture tradeoffs • Run alpha and beta builds to identify integration issues before customers do • Engage directly with platform engineers at AI Cloud operators, regulated enterprises, and large internal platform teams • Track the cloud-native ecosystem and emerging tenancy primitives • Sharpen product narratives for technical buyers and partner with GTM on messaging • Bridge engineering, sales, and marketing so shipped products align with sales and support • Help shape product direction while vCluster Labs scales • Support the development of Kubernetes virtualization and GPU infrastructure products for AI Cloud providers and AI factories

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, platform services, or distributed systems • Shipped something other engineers depend on in production • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including clusters, workloads, and namespaces • Experience engaging with platform engineers and architects • Comfortable in customer-facing infrastructure conversations • Experience with Kubernetes-as-a-Service is a bonus • Experience with GPU scheduling, multi-tenant accelerator workloads, or LLM deployment patterns is a bonus • Platform product management experience building internal developer platforms is a bonus • Adaptability to startup pace and change • Location eligibility includes Canada, the United States, and EMEA locations
