📋 Description

• Write and maintain code automating public cloud infrastructure, software delivery pipelines, and enablement tools • Write and maintain code for internally consumed platform services • Set technical direction for the platform and lead multi-quarter, cross-team initiatives • Make build-versus-buy and architecture decisions • Identify and solve high-leverage developer experience and delivery problems • Raise technical standards through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring • Partner with product engineering, security, and compliance, including in the FedRAMP environment • Document system designs, configurations, processes, and decisions • Collaborate with remote engineers to build the platform • Work with containers, serverless infrastructure, Kubernetes, Golang, Vue, public cloud services, and SaaS technologies

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling as a software product • Track record of technical leadership beyond a single team • Experience automating infrastructure through code using Pulumi or Terraform • Experience with GitHub Actions • Broad and deep experience with public cloud services, especially Azure • Understanding of operational excellence principles • Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS products • Ability to learn and implement new technologies pragmatically • Ability to scope down complex technical problems and avoid dependency blockers • Strong programming ability in at least one language such as Go, Python, Java, or C/C++; Go is the primary platform language • Understanding and experience implementing secure cloud design principles • Strong bias toward action and direct, frequent communication • Competent written technical and general communication • Passion for automation
