📋 Description

• Eliminate toil through automation and self-service by building modules and tooling for service setup, deployments, and issue resolution • Maintain platform health and delivery outcomes, including incident response and on-call management • Invest in AI-powered development workflows for routine maintenance • Optimize cloud platform costs across AWS and third-party providers • Architect and advise teams deploying ML workflows, real-time events, and video streaming • Own and evolve the Terraform estate, including shared modules, state and versioning management, and migrations • Build and maintain the internal developer platform and delivery automation using GitHub Actions, ECS, Lambda, and AI agents • Own and operate the AWS platform, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM, SSO, and Secrets Manager • Drive reliability and operations through Datadog monitoring, on-call participation, and incident response • Provide technical leadership and mentorship through RFCs, design reviews, code reviews, and cross-team influence without direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE • Deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines • Strong proficiency in TypeScript with the ability to write production-quality code • Solid knowledge of IAM, SSO, and observability tooling • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Experience building internal developer platforms or improving developer experience • Proficiency in Python • Experience building LLM or AI agents • Datadog-as-code experience • Familiarity with AWS Organizations, policy as code, and security posture work
