E-Verify Program is a web-based employment eligibility verification system operated by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security. It enables enrolled U. S. employers to electronically confirm the identity and work authorization of new (and some existing) hires by comparing employee-provided Form I-9 information against federal databases. The program includes employer and employee resources (myE-Verify), enhanced features like E-Verify+, photo matching, driver’s license verification, reporting tools, compliance guidance for federal contractors, training/webinars, and privacy/usage policies. E-Verify is an official government service focused on lawful employment verification and employer compliance with immigration and hiring regulations.

📋 Description

• Engineer CI/CD workflows using the customer's existing Atlassian Cloud, FSA GitLab, and NGDC AWS environment • Implement pipeline-as-code, reusable templates, automated quality gates, environment provisioning, configuration automation, and release controls • Integrate unit, integration, end-to-end, security, compliance, and infrastructure testing into delivery workflows • Implement infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment patterns supporting portable and severable applications • Maintain pipeline tool inventories, code standards, reusable libraries, SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation • Support compliance with NIST SP 800-218, applicable OMB/CISA guidance, STIGs, and CIS standards • Provide platform troubleshooting, performance improvement, access support, and technical guidance to development and Government stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field • 8+ years of experience • Hands-on experience implementing enterprise CI/CD, cloud/platform automation, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and release automation • Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, security-tool integration, and AWS or comparable cloud environments • Ability to develop and maintain technical procedures, reusable automation, and platform documentation • Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust • U.S. Citizenship is required • Preferred: GitLab CI/CD and Git workflows • Preferred: Atlassian Jira/Confluence • Preferred: AWS DevSecOps • Preferred: Terraform/CloudFormation or equivalent IaC • Preferred: Containers and platform automation • Preferred: NIST SP 800-218 • Preferred: STIG/CIS compliance automation • An active Secret clearance is highly preferred
