📋 Description

• Assist with overseeing all bankruptcy-related matters for accounts within the company's portfolio • Review and process bankruptcy notices, filings, and court documents • File proofs of claim, objections, and other necessary pleadings in bankruptcy cases • Monitor bankruptcy case status and deadlines to ensure timely action • Communicate with bankruptcy trustees, attorneys, and courts as needed • Maintain accurate records in the company's case management system • Collaborate with internal collections, compliance, and legal teams to align strategies • Ensure adherence to FDCPA, CFPB, and other regulatory requirements • Assist in audits and reports related to bankruptcy accounts • Report to the Director of Bankruptcy • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Prior experience in bankruptcy processing preferred • Familiarity with Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings preferred • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry • Ability to work efficiently and manage a high volume of repetitive tasks • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, PDF tools, and web-based filing systems • Familiarity with bankruptcy claims or legal documentation a plus • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Successful completion of a background check, verification of employment eligibility, and any other required pre-employment screenings
