📋 Description

• Serve as audit coordinator and/or representative for broader departmental audits, including annual, control, focused, and government contractually required audits • Determine information needed for audits and coordinate information gathering • Conduct self-testing and risk and control assessments as needed • Partner with Internal Audit and assist external auditors during recurring or required audits • Analyze interviews, observations, and inspections to identify error trends, root causes, compliance risks, and operational risks • Formulate tactical recommendations for quality and process improvements and mitigate risk and control deficiencies • Support and follow through on remediation strategies to maintain quality improvement gains • Present audit activities, issues, decisions, and risk/control matters at team meetings • Serve as a technical resource and assist with customer issues, system issues, training, and coaching/feedback • Partner with business areas to maintain and revise procedures and business processes • Represent the department on applicable project teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) • 0-2 years of experience in related field • In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field • Previous experience working with Federal Employee Program (FEP) claims processing, administration, or support is a bonus
