📋 Description

• Maintain credit memo reserves and special reserves for revenue price concessions and AR bad debt allowances • Prepare reserve documentation and schedules for internal review and audits • Apply appropriate accounting treatment and classification to revenue price concessions and AR bad debt write-offs • Analyze financial data to verify accuracy and identify trends • Deliver financial information to stakeholders on time • Support month-end close through journal entries and account reconciliations • Compile and analyze financial information for credit-related General Ledger entries and document transactions • Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger reconciliations for AR and revenue reserves • Record entries and reconciliations for credit memos, concessions, and ASC 450 loss contingencies • Interact with internal and external auditors • Maintain knowledge of GAAP, SEC requirements, and relevant regulations • Prepare recurring and special statistical and financial reports • Build and maintain data workflows using Power Query, SQL views, and scripts • Source, join, validate, and reconcile data across ERP, billing, CRM, and data warehouse systems • Redesign manual accounting processes and quantify hours saved and errors reduced • Design auditable automated reconciliations and controls with documented data lineage • Translate accounting logic into technical requirements and partner with IT, BI, and Business Systems • Complete ad hoc special projects • Work standard hours or assignment-defined hours, with possible after-hours, on-call, and holiday support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field – or equivalent (Required) • 3+ years relevant work experience (Required) • Excellent analytical skills • Knowledge of SEC regulatory agency reporting requirements and standards • Knowledge of internal controls and SOX requirements • Ability to translate large, raw datasets into audit-ready, GAAP-compliant financial information • Preferred: 4–7 years relevant work experience • Public accounting experience preferred • SaaS / Technology Industry experience preferred • Certified Public Accountant preferred • Advanced Excel, including Power Query or other query tools preferred • SQL, including joins, CTEs, and aggregations against a data warehouse preferred • Python (pandas) or R for data cleaning, matching, and recurring analysis preferred • Power Automate, Alteryx, or comparable workflow automation preferred • Experience with BlackLine, FloQast, or Trintech preferred • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse preferred • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada • Visa sponsorship is not offered
