📋 Description

• Build monthly billing files for Core and Ancillary billings • Reconcile cash accounts and identify and resolve discrepancies • Handle customer refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Process deferred revenue, accruals, and prepayment journals • Manage month-end close procedures for timely and accurate reporting • Monitor overdue accounts receivable amounts • Review, reconcile, and file sales tax returns and payments • Support the annual audit process and liaise with auditors on testing • Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager • Support production of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports, including variance analysis and commentary • Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams across the US and work across multiple financial systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in accounting or finance • Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, including Pivot Tables • Experience working with multiple software systems, such as SAP and NetSuite • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition • Knowledge of deferred revenue, accruals, and prepayment journals • Experience handling inter-company transactions • Familiarity with month-end tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations • In-depth involvement in the year-end audit process • Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail • Effective problem-solving capabilities • Ability to adapt quickly to change • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines • Collaborative team player • Work authorization in the United States may be required
