📋 Description

• Lead a geographically distributed IT team covering network, security, application configuration and support, incident response, and application installation and upgrade support • Support internal helpdesk operations for local offices, datacenters, and Azure hosting facilities • Deliver daily IT projects and support activities through a hands-on approach • Identify and drive innovation to execute work more efficiently, securely, and timely • Lead IT involvement in M&A due diligence and technical integration • Own the team's mission and roadmap • Set daily and longer-term priorities • Manage the IT budget and vendor relationships • Create a productive team culture within IT and across the business • Forecast and prepare for shifting work volumes and cadences • Build the operating model, structure, and prioritization for sustainable IT support • Represent IT's perspective on technical activities across the business as part of the Technology Leadership staff

🎯 Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of progressive IT experience, including hands-on infrastructure, SRE, or application management work • Hands-on experience managing hybrid environments spanning Azure-preferred cloud infrastructure, legacy on-premise infrastructure, and customer-deployed software • Leadership in cybersecurity management and response, and corporate governance activities • Working knowledge of network administration, security operations, and incident response • Experience forecasting and managing IT budgets, software licensing, and vendor/capex decisions • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple locations and functional disciplines • Strong data-driven decision-making habits using metrics for prioritization and resource allocation • Experience performing M&A due diligence, integration planning and forecasting, and technical integration of acquired companies' IT infrastructure • Strong written and visual communication skills • Experience building executive-level presentations, metrics, and business investment justifications or analyses • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience • Familiarity with government or regulated-industry software environments • Experience with SOC 1 and/or SOC 2 compliance is preferred • Experience in a small or mid-sized PE-backed software company is preferred
