📋 Description

• Lead technical aspects of externally manufactured Respiratory products and selected global key brands • Develop and execute technology-transfer projects aligned with commercial launch targets • Improve manufacturing-process robustness, efficiency, right-first-time performance, and cost competitiveness • Partner with Respiratory R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and other departments to manage contract manufacturing • Serve as technical point of contact for contract manufacturing organizations, evaluating technical performance and capacity against demand • Manage CMOs, vendors, project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder alignment • Provide interface support between Process Development and Manufacturing Operations for GMP implementation of new processes and technologies • Lead investigations, root-cause determinations, and CAPA closure for external GMP manufacturing operations • Identify and develop business cases for improvements in quality, safety, productivity, reliability, technology, and cost • Act as a subject-matter expert, develop colleagues’ technical proficiency, and drive continuous improvement and new technology/product innovation

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with a specialization in Engineering or a related science field is required, with relevant experience; related experience and/or education may be considered • Knowledge of pharmaceutical development and GMP manufacturing, preferably for respiratory products • Experience in at least one of the following product categories: OINDP, parenteral, blow-fill-seal, vaccine, or drug/device combinations • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute experimental plans, especially in commercial plants • Experience with statistical analysis and reporting results to technical and senior leader stakeholders • Ability to build, lead, and technically manage matrix teams responsible for complex product delivery • Demonstrated influencing, negotiation, conflict management, and stakeholder/senior leader management • Excellent written and spoken communication skills • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English • Ability to work remotely from the UK, Europe, or the United States
