📋 Description

• Design and deliver robust backend services, frontend UI components, data models, messaging systems, and API specifications across the studio's game platform. • Take a leading role in architectural discussions and technology research, contributing considered, well-reasoned perspectives that help shape the platform's long-term direction. • Translate complex functional requirements into precise, elegant technical designs that balance immediate delivery needs with sustainable long-term maintainability. • Write high-quality, well-documented code with performance, reliability, and testability as non-negotiable standards. • Work within and actively champion a test-driven development culture, taking personal accountability for the correctness and resilience of your output. • Lead thorough peer code reviews that raise engineering standards across the team, providing specific, actionable, and constructive feedback. • Act as a technical reference point for less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge, supporting problem-solving, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning. • Proactively identify technical debt, architectural risks, and opportunities to improve platform quality — and drive the work to address them. • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of outcomes rather than just tasks. • Work closely with QA analysts, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to deliver features that fully meet functional, technical, and commercial requirements. • Contribute to the identification and implementation of process and automation improvements across the development lifecycle. • Maintain accurate, up-to-date tracking of work, issues, and progress using project management tooling (JIRA or equivalent).

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in an equivalent senior role, with a demonstrable track record of platform-level delivery. • Solid backend development experience in PHP, Python, or a comparable server-side language, with the ability to design and own services from the ground up. • Experience working with distributed systems and microservice architectures at scale. • Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy, taking initiative and driving outcomes without close direction. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine, deep commitment to software quality. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud-based environments. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience across modern frontend frameworks (Angular, Vue, React, or equivalent) and contemporary build tooling. • Nice to have: Experience in C# and .NET as an additional backend capability. • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. • Experience within an iGaming or online gaming platform environment. • Background in mentoring or technically leading junior engineers within an agile team setting.
