📋 Description

• Lead the introduction of agentic AI development practices across the engineering organization • Own the AI-assisted reverse engineering of the legacy platform • Define and execute the technology strategy and multi-year engineering roadmap for VikingCloud • Make critical architectural decisions to decompose legacy systems and establish shared services • Transform today's manual QA and deployment processes into a fully automated, rapid-release engineering engine • Build a metrics-driven engineering culture from the ground up with defined KPIs • Unify the engineering organization under a single, modern development methodology • Partner closely with the EVP of Global Product to ensure alignment between product strategy and engineering execution

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience in operating roles at technology or SaaS companies • At least 8 years in senior engineering leadership (VP of Engineering, CTO, SVP of Engineering, or equivalent) • Direct hands-on experience with modern agentic AI development tooling (Claude, Cursor, Kiro, GitHub Copilot, etc.) • Demonstrated experience using AI to reverse-engineer legacy codebases • Experience leading engineering organizations of 150+ engineers across multiple geographies • Explicit experience owning a multi-geography operating model with India as a substantive footprint • Strong command of agile methodologies at scale • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred
