📋 Description

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes • Perform financial analysis for the organization • Partner with Operations and Development staff to support accurate budgeting and reporting • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses and cash flow projections • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for organizational planning and long-range financial strategy • Monitor spending against grant and program budgets • Prepare financial reporting materials and schedules for government, corporate, and foundation grants • Implement FP&A software and build budgeting processes and reports • Support preparation of financial statements and board-specific reporting • Assist with audit readiness by preparing and updating supporting schedules and analyses • Collaborate with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer • Provide clear, actionable insights from financial data • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and relevant finance experience • 4+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting • Prior experience working in a nonprofit • Understanding of grant budgets and restricted funding, including analysis and reporting of government, corporate, and foundation grants • Technology savvy with advanced knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and reporting software • Ability to work with financial data across multiple systems • Expert-level Excel skills working with complex workbooks using formulas, macros, and pivot tables • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities • Experience with Sage Intacct • Prior experience in nonprofit finance, including fund and grant budgeting and monitoring • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Highly motivated, resourceful, and flexible, with a positive attitude • Effective communication and documentation skills
