📋 Description

• Build and run ClearDrive’s in-house remote scanning team • Own day-to-day scheduling and shift coverage across all production hours • Manage technician hiring and ramp pipeline according to rollout volume • Monitor real-time throughput and workload distribution • Escalate scan delays, technical issues, and complex vehicle cases • Coordinate with shop-level staff on physical scan-device hookup and handoffs • Ensure scans and diagnostics meet OEM repair standards and are documented • Track and report KPIs including scans per technician, turnaround time, accuracy/rework rate, and rollout coverage • Conduct quality audits and correct systemic issues • Maintain system usage and documentation across scan reporting platforms • Partner with shop leadership and estimators as locations come online • Support first-week ramp at newly onboarded locations and troubleshoot connectivity/hardware issues • Incorporate field/shop feedback into scheduling, training, and process improvements • Hire, train, and develop remote scanning technicians • Build progression from new hire to senior/lead technician • Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings • Foster a collaborative, high-performance remote team culture • Own performance management, coaching, and corrective action

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive diagnostics, ADAS, or remote vehicle scanning industry experience • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing a technical team • Experience in a remote/centralized operating model, ideally • Direct experience at a remote diagnostics provider strongly preferred • Collision repair or insurance industry experience preferred • I-CAR and/or ASE certifications preferred but not required • Willingness to maintain and expand OEM-specific scanning/calibration certifications across the team • Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills • Deep familiarity with OEM scan tools, remote diagnostic platforms, and ADAS calibration flagging/requirements • Comfortable building and reading throughput/KPI reports • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CCC One, and remote diagnostic/workflow platforms • Experience scaling a technical team through a phased rollout is a plus • Must be able to work in the United States based on the listed locations
