📋 Description

• Handle day-to-day operational accounting activities • Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses for internal and external use • Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations • Interpret financial transactions, resolve accounting discrepancies, and identify significant fluctuations • Develop and implement processes focused on automation, scalability, and efficiency • Participate in month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes • Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls • Assist with annual budget and forecast preparation • Perform special projects and studies on accounting and control matters • Collaborate with the Sr. Accountant, Manager of Operations, multiple departments, external clients, and vendors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance required • 0-2 years’ experience in financial reporting and/or general accounting • Strong knowledge of US GAAP • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and in teams • Good oral and written communication skills required • Intermediate Excel skills • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills • Ability to work in a remote environment • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate and solve problems • Ability to analyze problems and multiple alternate solutions to quickly make decisions • Ability to develop practices, workflows, and policies • CPA, or working towards CPA license preferred • QuickBooks experience preferred
