📋 Description

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes • Maintain Project Account Groups (PAGs) and cost element structures within Costpoint • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA audit requirements • Support incurred cost submissions, provisional billing rates, and annual indirect rate reconciliations • Process and review project-related labor, travel, ODC, and subcontractor transactions • Perform accounts payable and accrued-liability reconciliations • Support internal and external audits, including DCAA and DCMA reviews • Collaborate with Project Managers and Contracts staff on project setup, budgeting, and cost tracking • Assist with Costpoint system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting across GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting, and Billing modules • Implement process improvements to increase financial-operation efficiency and accuracy • Report to the Senior Manager, Finance, Westinghouse Government Services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • At least 2 years in a government contracting environment • Technical accounting skills • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS cost principles • Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint • Experience with government contracting accounting, audits, and cost compliance
