📋 Description

• Lead Electrify America and Electrify Canada’s commissioning strategy, execution, and continuous improvement • Own commissioning from construction completion through site acceptance and operational turnover • Define site readiness standards, requirements, workflows, and commissioning acceptance criteria • Define and maintain the construction-to-commissioning handoff process • Manage Design-Build firms, equipment manufacturers, commissioning vendors, and technical service providers • Establish expectations for schedule adherence, quality, safety, and commissioning execution • Serve as primary commissioning subject matter expert • Provide hands-on support for commissioning, startup validation, and technical issue resolution • Develop training, certification, and knowledge-management programs • Educate internal teams, manufacturers, and service providers on commissioning requirements and standards • Onboard new equipment manufacturers and establish startup and validation processes • Recommend and assign commissioning personnel based on project requirements and geographic needs • Lead and support a dedicated team of traveling commissioning technicians

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience • Technical understanding of electrical principles and equipment • Electrical system troubleshooting/repair • Mechanical aptitude • Development and implementation of training materials • Strong time management and multitasking abilities • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time • Availability to work outside normal business hours when necessary • NFPA70E, OSHA30, or other relevant safety certifications in good standing desired • Crane/lift certification desired • Other relevant electrical certifications desired • Switchgear/power system testing and repair desired
