📋 Description

• Support Commissioning across critical power and EV charging infrastructure • Evaluate complex equipment and electrical issues and validate site readiness • Resolve commissioning blockers and drive sites through energization and commissioning • Review work requests, FSRs, photos, test results, alarms, error codes, site history, and equipment documentation • Determine required expertise, tooling, testing, parts, OEM/vendor involvement, and field resources • Support complex troubleshooting and escalate issues to Engineering or OEMs • Drive technical handoffs between Commissioning, NOC, Engineering, OEMs, Construction, and field service teams • Lead or support technical investigations and root cause analysis • Analyze equipment faults and field data to identify trends and recommend corrective or preventive actions • Translate technical findings into scopes of work, troubleshooting steps, and field guidance • Develop and improve Commissioning processes, standards, workflows, handoffs, tools, and documentation • Support critical power campaigns, site swaps, decommissioning initiatives, and strategic programs • Establish KPIs and reporting for commissioning blockers, equipment trends, process gaps, and execution improvements • Develop training materials and facilitate knowledge sharing • Provide secondary technical support to the Power Restoration Team for complex restoration issues • Support OEM/Engineering escalation, repair-versus-replacement evaluation, specialized troubleshooting, and lessons learned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or 5+ years of experience • Working knowledge of electrical theory, schematics/SLDs, electrical testing, EV charging equipment, switchgear, and safe work practices • Advanced technical guidance for commissioning, site readiness, energization, equipment faults, alarms, electrical failures, and field diagnostics • Technical understanding of EV charging equipment, electrical distribution systems, switchgear, and associated power infrastructure • Electrical system troubleshooting, testing, and repair • Experience supporting commissioning, energization, corrective maintenance, or power-restoration activities • Ability to review field documentation, test results, FSRs, alarms, and equipment data and translate findings into defined scope and next steps • Development and implementation of technical procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and training materials • Strong time management and multitasking abilities • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time • Availability to work outside normal business hours when necessary • NFPA70E, OSHA30, other relevant safety certifications, OEM/manufacturer training, DC fast charging experience, switchgear/power-system testing and repair, commissioning and field-service experience, and other electrical certifications are desired
