📋 Description

• Oversee the administration and management of disability and leave claims • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and ERISA • Lead and manage a team of claims professionals • Provide guidance, support, and development planning • Evaluate complex claims and situations and make informed decisions • Deliver exemplary customer service to claimants • Develop, implement, and adopt claims policies and procedures • Collaborate with global partners and internal stakeholders including HR, legal, and operational teams • Monitor and report on claims-management KPIs • Facilitate audits and reviews of claims processes • Identify technology and process improvements • Manage demand and capacity for optimal resource allocation • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • 3-5 years supervisory experience • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in disability claims management • Exceptional knowledge of leave related laws/regulations, FMLA, ADA, PFML, Paid Sick Leave, PWFA, and pregnancy related leaves • Strong background in disability management and industry best practices • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to influence key decision makers to drive process improvements and change management • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Professional certifications such as CDMP, CCP, or similar are highly desirable
