📋 Description

• Participate in day-to-day project and support work, including analysis, documentation, configuration, testing, integration, and reporting activities • Participate in projects surrounding HCP and HCO data as it integrates between CRMs, MDMs, Transparency Reporting Systems and traceability to accounting and expense systems. • Provide application troubleshooting, production support and manage the support queue • Design data flow diagrams, process mapping, and update/maintain system documentation • Monitor integration alerts and partner to resolve failures • Implement product enhancements; understand and document business processes and requirements • Participate in reviewing, planning, testing and implementing regularly scheduled system upgrades and/or enhancements as per Vertex’s Change Review Process • Develop collaborative relationships with IT peers, Corporate Services, Commercial/Clinical, external vendor partners, and various operational teams to help design, develop, and deliver solutions that satisfy business requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, another technical discipline, or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience • Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new tools based on conceptual understanding of technology • Flexibility to adapt to a continually changing and fast paced business environment • Effective written and oral communication skills • Demonstrate an understanding of good project management practices as well as the fundamentals of the System Lifecyle (SLC) and Information Technology operational practices • Familiar with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, PowerBI) • Experience with a ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira, or BMC Remedy) • Experience administering and integrating SAP Concur Travel and Expense preferred • Experience with CRM Systems (Veeva CRM) preferred • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred (familiarity with HCP and HCO data)
