📋 Description

• Monitor project progress from initiation through completion using project control tools and techniques • Track timelines, milestones, budgets, expenses, costs incurred, and commitments against plans • Review contract setups in the company accounting system at startup • Analyze and report progress on contracts of varying size and complexity • Develop and reconcile Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) • Work with Finance, Program Management, and Contracts & Pricing teams • Administer subcontract funding • Prepare Monthly Program Review presentations and financial deliverables • Develop ROMs and cost estimates for task order pricing units • Process 75% LOF notices and Risk Authorization Forms • Maintain and track Work Breakdown Structure efforts • Work with customers or CORs regarding questions, concerns, and issues • Analyze trends and variances, identify risks and issues, and recommend corrective actions • Prepare project status, progress, and cost reports for internal and external stakeholders • Maintain a central repository of current project documentation • Assist with project management processes and tools • Support planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for projects across contract types, sizes, complexities, and risk levels • Train and support project managers and team members on project control systems and processes • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned • Manage special projects assigned by project managers or senior management

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years’ experience in a Project Control Analyst/Project Financial Analyst role working with government service contracts • 15+ years’ experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition policies • 15+ years' experience communicating financial information and scenarios with management and Project/Program Managers • Experience in the generation of cost performance reports on government contracts • Familiarity with FAR and DFAR • Knowledge of Forecasting, Cost Burdens, Labor Accounting, Tripwires, Contract Funding Obligation and De-Obligation, and Contract Closeouts • Experience with various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, T&M, and FFP) • Billing invoice experience and understanding of unbilled data • Contract Administration experience is a plus • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Microsoft Windows applications • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience developing and maintaining complex financial models • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred • B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent preferred • 15+ years’ experience with Government Accounting language (CLIN, SLIN, ACRN) preferred • 5+ years’ experience working with Wide Area Workflow preferred • 15+ years’ working knowledge and experience with corporate accounting systems such as JAMIS, Deltek, or Oracle preferred • 3+ years’ working knowledge of Agiloft preferred • 3+ years’ working knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs preferred • If recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
