📋 Description

• Expand features on Wave’s Android and iOS apps • Work closely with product managers, user researchers, engineers, and data analysts from feature start to completion • Create high-quality designs, interactions, and prototypes using Figma • Craft user research plans and collaborate with user researchers to identify problems and validate solutions in user testing • Contribute to Wave’s design system and component library • Talk to customers and develop solutions from their perspective • Communicate the reasoning behind product decisions in review sessions and discussions with product managers • Prototype visual and UX concepts and iterate toward solutions using Claude for mobile prototyping with Android APKs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with low and high-fidelity design & prototyping with LLMs on Android mobile apps • Fluency in English • At least 6 years of end-to-end in-house experience, with a consumer focus on product design with mobile apps • Excellent visual and interaction design skills • Attention to detail and high level of visual craft • Strong illustration and animation skills • Experience with After Effects and Lottie, or tools convertible to Lottie files • Ability to deliver high-quality designs with speed and polish • Ability to identify UX improvements without waiting for perfect conditions • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to think through complex interaction design and solution tradeoffs • Curiosity for understanding customer behaviors and needs • Experience balancing business goals, customer needs, and technical tradeoffs • French language skills are a plus, not a strong requirement • Detail-oriented and able to balance multiple projects • Ability to iterate concepts quickly for user testing and update designs based on customer feedback • Ability to anticipate and design for edge cases • Ability to pair with designers, engineers, and product managers
