• Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex, multi-workstream implementations, including new market expansions and MCO and provider contract launches, from kickoff through stabilization and handoff to operations • Develop and maintain project plans, workplans, milestone schedules, resource plans, dependency maps, and critical path analyses • Establish and run implementation governance, including project charters, RACI and decision-rights frameworks, working-group cadences, executive status reporting, and stage-gate reviews • Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; drive escalation and resolution • Manage scope, timeline, and budget across concurrent implementations • Lead post-launch retrospectives and improve processes, tools, and playbooks • Serve as senior implementation contact for MCO and provider partners, leading presentations, joint meetings, timeline and data-exchange alignment, executive communications, and escalations • Guide partners through onboarding, workflow integration, and adoption of Waymark’s care model and technology • Build relationships with external partners to support contract expansion and long-term success • Orchestrate cross-functional teams spanning clinical, product, engineering, analytics, quality, compliance, regional market leadership, partnerships, and finance • Translate contract requirements into executable local launch plans with Regional VPs and market leaders • Plan and sequence Signal and other data-product deployments with product and analytics teams • Drive internal stakeholder alignment through transparent communication regarding roadmaps, trade-offs, and deliverables • Provide concise status reporting to executive leadership on milestones, risks, and decisions • Build standardized implementation playbooks, templates, launch checklists, success metrics, and operating rhythms • Define and track implementation KPIs and drive continuous improvement • Build, lead, and mentor the implementation team and develop project-management capability across the organization • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare services implementation, program management, or operations • Track record leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder implementations from planning through launch • Deep expertise in formal project management disciplines, including workplans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, governance, and status reporting • Proven ability to manage health plans, provider groups, and other external partners, including executive sponsors • Ability to navigate competing priorities, negotiate timelines, and manage escalations • Demonstrated success leading matrixed, cross-functional teams without direct authority • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive and external-partner updates • Experience implementing or deploying technology platforms • Ability to use data to guide operational decisions • Fluency with project management tools • Passion for improving care for Medicaid patients • Experience with Medicaid managed care, MCO contracting, and data exchange preferred • Experience launching new markets, contracts, or service lines in early-stage, high-growth environments preferred • Formal project management certification such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma preferred • Experience building implementation functions, playbooks, and teams from the ground up preferred • Successful completion of a background check, including employment history and advance degree verification when applicable
