📋 Description

• Author original, challenging multiple-choice legal questions within an area of legal expertise • Assess and classify question difficulty as Medium, Hard, or Expert • Review existing questions for legal accuracy, clarity, completeness, precision, and rigor • Make necessary edits and document the reasoning behind revisions • Ensure questions are clear, unambiguous, self-contained, and sufficiently detailed for a definitive answer • Provide one correct answer and nine plausible but subtly incorrect alternatives • Develop concise, logically structured explanations demonstrating appropriate legal reasoning • Provide 1–5 credible academic or professional references for each question • Apply consistent quality standards and contribute to reliable legal evaluation benchmarks for AI research • Participate asynchronously on a flexible schedule for project-based assignments

🎯 Requirements

• JD, LLM, SJD, or doctoral-level qualification in Law or a closely related discipline • Master's-level candidates may be considered with exceptional specialized legal expertise • Strong command of legal reasoning, statutory and regulatory interpretation, case analysis, and legal research • Deep expertise in at least one covered legal practice area • Excellent written English and ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly, precisely, and concisely • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle legal inaccuracies or ambiguities • Experience with legal education, bar examination content development, academic assessment, judicial clerkships, legal research, or legal writing highly valued • Prior experience with AI evaluation, training data, benchmarking, or human-in-the-loop research is a plus • Commitment of 10+ hours per week • Independent contractor engagement • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible • Ability to submit a resume or relevant professional background highlighting legal specialization and experience • Selected applicants may need to complete a short sample assessment or provide additional subject-matter information
