📋 Description

• Act as the senior-most engineer for the team by designing components, writing high-quality code, troubleshooting complex issues, performing code reviews, and owning the technical roadmap • Lead end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery of technical solutions for internal and external healthcare systems • Build scalable, cloud-native solutions on Azure using microservices architecture and the .NET stack • Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding, including agentic development tools for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and legacy code comprehension • Establish secure and maintainable code review standards for generated code • Own engineering practices for AI-backed features, including context and retrieval design, evaluation and monitoring, PHI-safe prompting and logging, and human review points • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and engineering teams to define integration strategies and solution blueprints • Translate complex technical designs for non-technical stakeholders and align technical outcomes with organizational priorities • Ensure development aligns with HIPAA, PHI/PII-safe engineering, and healthcare interoperability requirements • Implement secure software design patterns, RBAC, data governance, encryption standards, cloud compliance controls, and DevSecOps practices • Manage direct reports, including hiring, training, supervising, mentoring, and removing barriers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; master’s degree preferred • Minimum of ten (10) years of object-oriented software development experience with C#, .NET Core, and React.js on the front end • Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members • Deep Azure cloud experience, including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Azure Cosmos DB • Experience designing and delivering microservices architecture at scale • Strong engineering DevSecOps principles, with security built into code, CI/CD, and cloud from the start • Automated testing discipline and experience designing REST APIs and solutions that span multiple data sources • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices, such as LLM-based developer tooling, code generation, and workflow automation • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative development cycles and rapid proof-of-concept delivery • Business process management (BPM) experience with Camunda preferred • Proof of vaccination or a vaccine declination form required prior to employment
