📋 Description

• Review and refine Slovak localized content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural or contextual accuracy • Execute product test cases and identify localization and functional bugs • Write and report bugs and errors through internal and client-specific bug-tracking systems • Verify that implemented fixes have been resolved correctly • Translate content from English into Slovak when needed • Explore user interfaces to identify localization or functional issues • Evaluate translations in software, mobile apps, and documentation • Serve as a subject matter expert for Slovak linguistic issues and resolve linguistic questions • Follow project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, checklists, and glossaries • Troubleshoot basic problems, communicate effectively, and escalate testing issues • Complete assigned tasks accurately, on time, and to quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level Slovak fluency and cultural awareness of Slovak and Slovakia • Good oral and written communication • Strong organization and attention to detail • Commitment to quality • Ability to understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently • Ability to accurately follow testing instructions and test cases • Ability to use client-specific bug-tracking tools • Ability to evaluate translations in software, mobile apps, and documentation • Ability to research and resolve linguistic questions in Slovak • Ability to adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, checklists, and glossaries • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems, communicate effectively, and escalate testing issues • Background in marketing, journalism, copy editing, proofreading, writing, translation, and/or localization is ideal
