📋 Description

• Manage assigned substation projects from conception through construction and commissioning • Support engineering requirements and scope development during the conceptual phase • Report to the onsite manager • Manage long-lead major material orders to minimize delay and budget risks • Support Transmission Services in reviewing interconnection documentation, including system impact, facility, reactive and harmonic studies, and interconnection agreements • Train, perform due diligence on, and provide technical oversight of external engineers of record • Ensure compliance with interconnection agreements, project specifications, site-specific design requirements, IEEE, NESC, ASCE, and other applicable standards • Coordinate substation site development, engineering updates, data, and permits • Communicate with transmission owners, operators, and ISOs to meet off-taker requirements • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project engineering resources on priorities, work plans, and lines of demarcation • Ensure projects are implemented efficiently, cost-effectively, and safely • Support project commissioning activities • Support Legal with regulatory filings, depositions, and hearings • Travel within North America as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred • Must have 7+ years experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation projects • Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience • PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline is helpful • Compliance with applicable United States and comparable export control requirements, where applicable
