📋 Description

• Develop and execute regional fuel supply strategies optimizing profitability, supply reliability, and customer service • Monitor fuel market fundamentals, supply and demand trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive activity • Evaluate sourcing alternatives and make commercial supply decisions • Identify market and arbitrage opportunities and supply advantages • Build and maintain relationships with refiners, traders, terminal operators, inventory providers, and strategic supply partners • Serve as the primary commercial contact for regional suppliers • Negotiate, manage, and ensure compliance with fuel supply agreements • Develop industry relationships that provide market intelligence • Partner with Sales and Pricing teams to support customer growth and competitiveness • Develop profitable sourcing strategies and provide market insights and recommendations • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align supply strategy with business objectives • Make daily supply decisions maximizing optionality, profitability, and security of supply • Manage inventory positions and assess financial and commercial impacts • Monitor exposure, basis risk, and market structure • Support forecasting, planning, and performance analysis • Partner with transportation and logistics teams to improve flexibility and operational efficiency • Develop expertise in suppliers, terminals, logistics networks, and competitive dynamics within the assigned market • Communicate market conditions, risks, and opportunities to internal stakeholders • Provide actionable guidance and serve as a subject matter expert within the Land Supply organization

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in fuel supply, refined products, wholesale fuels, energy, commodities, trading, commercial supply, or related markets • Strong understanding of fuel supply networks, market economics, and commercial decision-making • Experience managing supplier relationships and commercial agreements • Ability to analyze market conditions and translate insights into business actions • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities • Preferred: Experience within wholesale fuels, rack supply, refined products, terminal operations, trading, or energy markets • Preferred: Knowledge of inventory management, market exposure, basis risk, and supply optimization • Preferred: Experience partnering with commercial, sales, pricing, operations, and logistics teams • Preferred: Understanding of fuel distribution networks and regional market dynamics • Preferred: Experience with Excel and Tableau • Must be located within the Central U.S. Region
