• Lead strategy and execution for the Chronic PD portfolio across Alabama and Northern Mississippi • Drive cohesive resource coordination, cross-functional collaboration and local implementation plans • Develop and maintain strategic physician and business relationships • Partner with PD Clinical Specialists to align resources • Build deep understanding of therapies, products and the full selling process • Negotiate and manage all local contracts and serve as primary point of contact for contractual communications • Expand PD therapy utilization and increase PD referrals through strategic physician and business relationships • Drive pre-tax associated margin and market share growth through direct provider engagement • Create and negotiate local contracts aligned with strategic pricing initiatives • Use business tools to target and grow high-opportunity providers focused on patient growth and retention • Prioritize and implement market initiatives to meet territory forecasts and goals • Conduct scientific and technical sales presentations and discussions • Develop selling, negotiation and presentation skills and maintain knowledge of relevant tools and resources • Create, manage and grow the territory sales opportunity funnel • Maximize territory growth through collaboration on strategic account initiatives • Capture and maintain customer interactions in Pristine Boost (Salesforce) entries
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of relevant medical device and/or clinical sales experience • Proven track record of closing new business • Physician engagement experience in a selling environment required • Experience calling on nephrologists and established physician networks preferred • Proficiency in full sales cycle management, including prospecting, lead qualification, solution selling and closing • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a medical field • Track record of managing multiple projects and/or businesses while meeting or exceeding sales objectives • Advanced consultative sales skills and excellent interpersonal relationship skills • Ability to relate to various levels of management and staff in the clinic environment • Demonstrated negotiating skills and ability to initiate, execute and close contractual processes • Demonstrated forecasting skills • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to support new business conversions and development • Ability to negotiate and manage pricing contracts and renewals • Ability to travel on average at least 50% of the time • Valid Driver’s License • Compliance with customer access guidelines and vendor credentialing expectations • Must reside within the Alabama and Northern Mississippi territory
