📋 Description

• Perform routine engineering work using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria • Perform duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Senior Application Engineer • Perform structural engineering calculations related to application products • Prepare Bills of Material • Perform application engineering functions • Visit job sites • Assist Account Managers in sales efforts • Resolve clearly defined engineering problems and inconsistencies in routine research/data • Conduct regular process checks and review outputs with coworkers or supervisors • Provide general guidance or training to junior-level support personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline • Certification may be required in some areas • Generally 0–2 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA and generally 0–1 year of experience in a related field • Must be proficient in AutoCAD • Experience reading blueprints • Experience using structural analysis software for simple beam and column elements is a plus • Experience in structural engineering related to steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast, or tilt construction is preferred • Work in compliance with established procedures and protocols • Ability to perform structural engineering calculations • Ability to analyze data and resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies • Ability to exercise judgment under general supervision
