📋 Description

• Utilize system tools and operational methods to ensure optimal product availability and inventory balance across multiple locations • Analyze field inventory levels to identify excesses and opportunities for better utilization, repositioning, or pullback • Analyze inventory data and make decisions regarding aged inventory reduction • Monitor exception reports and daily analytics for aged inventory business metrics • Review and report time-sensitive exposure to the field to move product prior to expiration • Team with purchasing to align inventory disposition and required data updates • Analyze and communicate impacts of proposed changes to affected teams • Partner with departments on disposition and retirement of aged products • Maintain supplier relations and address supplier returns • Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing to align future inventory requirements • Work with category management to ensure vendor agreements are in place for returns • Analyze trends and determine methods for reporting excess inventory to the field • Collaborate with analysts to maintain regional consistency • Create statistical forecasts and identify and quantify risks of inventory on hand • Recommend inventory disposition to field leadership • Execute projects assigned by the field leadership team • Resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies or anomalies in complex research and data • Provide general guidance or training to junior-level personnel as needed • Perform branch inventory-related work, including counting product, reviewing expiration dates, and audit observation

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline • Generally 2–5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2–4 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas • Analytical or statistical experience — REQUIRED • Microsoft Excel proficiency — REQUIRED • Finance analytics experience — Preferred • Inventory Control experience — Preferred • Loss prevention analysis is ideal • Oracle or other ERP system experience is ideal • Power BI use • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge • Concur — nice to have • Candidates must reside in California, Oregon or Washington • Ability to undertake 20–25% overnight travel for branch inventory-related work • Proper PPE required for branch inventory-related work
