📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for internal customers • Ensure business solutions align with requirements and strategic goals • Design, document, test, and leverage business solutions • Assist in defining and planning departmental project roadmaps • Partner with clients and manage prioritization and delivery of services for an application module or subject area • Gather and compile raw data, conduct research on industry trends and benchmarks, and normalize data into a centralized format • Analyze and report data, compare industry and company benchmarks, determine trends, and prepare cost analyses • Prepare spreadsheets, reports with charts and graphs, mailing lists, maps, and ad hoc requests • Present findings to business partners • Develop business cases, ROI calculations, value definitions, cost assessments, benefits analyses, and risk analyses • Provide recommendations based on findings and analyses • Develop, support, and improve department scorecards and presentations • Define and measure key performance indicators • Manage enterprise project intake, capital assignment, closure, and executive communications • May act as project manager on approved projects • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems • May oversee project and assignment completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, reviewing progress and accuracy, and evaluating results • Contribute to employees’ professional development without hiring or firing authority

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline, or MS/MA with the applicable experience • Generally 5–8 years of experience in a related field with BS/BA, or 3–5 years with MS/MA • Certification is required in some areas • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Five or more years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience • Strong accounting, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet close-related deadlines • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
