📋 Description

• Administer Google Workspace and endpoint management and protection tooling across a remote Windows, macOS, and Chromebook fleet • Manage device provisioning, enrollment, policy enforcement, wiping, and decommissioning, including repeatable volume scripting • Execute hiring, personnel-change, and termination access changes while maintaining clean evidence trails • Improve asset-record accuracy through process improvement and automation • Run recurring vulnerability-management cycles across cloud infrastructure and employee endpoints • Triage security alerts, determine validity, remediate issues, or escalate them • Review cloud-configuration findings against compliance baselines and drive remediation to closure • Execute periodic access reviews and collect evidence • Make hands-on AWS changes involving identity, permissions, network controls, encryption, logging, storage, and databases • Help migrate infrastructure into Terraform and reduce console-only production configuration • Clean up legacy cloud sprawl, coordinate with system owners, test decommissions, document cost savings, and eliminate orphaned components • Create runbooks and document automation, procedures, standards, and technical processes • Collect and organize control evidence for HITRUST and SOC 2 programs • Independently run recurring reporting cycles and improve runbooks • Design production changes and identify future remediation priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Roughly 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience spanning at least two of security operations, cloud infrastructure, and IT systems administration • Production experience making changes in AWS accounts and/or Google Workspace, understanding blast radius, and investigating issues • Python or Bash scripting fluency for task automation, parsing exports, and reconciling systems • Systems administration experience with an identity provider or endpoint management platform • Clear, plain, specific technical writing that a stranger can follow • Ownership of cross-functional remediation through completion • Comfort handling health information for elderly or vulnerable people • Infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform, is nice to have • HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, or audited control-environment experience is nice to have • Container, CI/CD, vulnerability-scanning, or code-analysis-tooling familiarity is nice to have • Salesforce platform administration is nice to have • Certifications are welcome but none are required
