📋 Description

• Support the Business to Business Interiors team • Work with design, sales, and operations teams to pull together projects and client presentations • Create a portfolio of projects for sales tools and marketing collateral to attract new clientele • Create persuasive design presentations highlighting product solutions and inspiring client confidence • Specify tailored furniture solutions across all 10 brands to meet clients’ design, functional, and budgetary objectives • Lead development of space plans, furniture layouts, and test fits for commercial projects • Balance design intent, operational requirements, accessibility, and building code considerations • Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects and support project milestones and key dates • Work with the aesthetics of Williams-Sonoma brands and cater to client tastes and requirements • Build business acumen by understanding B2B goals, financial goals, and strategy • Recognize product whitespace and track project trends and needs • Build cross-functional partnerships with sales, planning, operations, product development, and sourcing teams • Communicate design intent clearly to cross-functional partners • Track and report Interior Design project win/loss metrics • Transport materials and equipment and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis • Contribute processes, procedures, insights, and ideas to improve workflow and results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in architecture or interior design • Minimum 3 years Commercial Interior Design experience preferred • Experience designing and/or specifying for Commercial spaces • Must provide a portfolio or website of current and past experience • Aspirational taste level with passion for interiors, home furnishings, color, designer aesthetic, and industry trends • Understanding and enthusiasm for the brand • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas • Knowledge of contract furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications • Technically versed in Construction Documentation and all phases of Interior Design process • Full proficiency in Mac operating systems • Skill excellence in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling where applicable • Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to change • Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented; strong calendar adherence and ownership • Strong time management and communication skills • WSI will not now or in the future commence an immigration case or sponsor an individual for this position
