📋 Description

• Assist with monitoring the Operations helpdesk, triage requests, escalate them appropriately, and perform level-one helpdesk support • Respond to technical assistance requests in person, by phone, or electronically • Understand business and regulatory requirements before making configuration changes in the policy administration system • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs • Use policy administration system configuration tools to make approved changes and test functionality • Fix defects found during product-configuration testing • Perform peer review and quality testing on configuration changes • Document requirements, including use cases and user stories • Maintain current knowledge-base documents • Write and execute test plans and test scripts • Follow code-deployment best practices, including local repository work and pull/push/merge code • Maintain accurate records in JIRA, service desk, and Confluence • Generate routine project status reports for management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in an area of study with analytic emphasis (typically math, computer sciences, or accounting) • Proficient in the use of MS Office products • Experience with Microsoft Office products • Prior experience performing analytical or quantitative activities in spreadsheet/database types of software applications • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent presentation skills • Familiarity with insurance, insurance products, rules and methodologies preferred • Knowledge of software development lifecycle • Solid understanding of the Duck Creek Author tool • Must reside in one of these states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
