• Support staff and stakeholders using the registries during GHG project listing, validation/verification, credit issuance, and transaction processes • Review project data and documents for accuracy and completeness before credit issuance • Assess new registry participant applications, conduct KYC, and provide onboarding assistance • Answer registry participant, stakeholder, and market participant questions • Track program developments, new methodologies, and approval of Validation/Verification Bodies • Improve registry services and standard operating procedures • Maintain and update ACR policy and template documents • Develop analyses, reports, presentations, and outreach materials • Learn, test, troubleshoot, and teach registry system functionality • Draft and/or review system specifications for infrastructure enhancements • Lead engagement with registry service providers for ACR, ART, and STEPS • Manage registry datasets • Mentor junior staff • Complete other assigned tasks
• Bachelor’s degree required • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience required • Relevant experience in environmental markets, customer support, database management, and systems organization • Proficiency in the full MS Office suite required • Strong speaking and written English communication skills required • Strong organizational, analytical, and systems thinking skills • Demonstrated project management ability, including managing multiple tasks and partners, meeting deadlines, and reporting progress • Detail-oriented ability to review datasets and documents and provide substantive feedback • High level of client service and timely partner responses • Integrity, trustworthiness, and diplomatic problem-solving approach • Ability to work independently and in teams • Commitment to Winrock’s mission and interest in market-based approaches to reducing greenhouse gas emissions • Comfortable working in a flexible, high-paced environment • Must have work authorization in the United States; sponsorship is not available • Must be available to travel domestically 1–3 times per year for short-term assignments • Typical office environment with continual sitting or standing required
