📋 Description

• Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues, and regulatory concerns • Provide underwriting solutions to agents, sales team, and title examiners in accordance with company guidelines and local, state, and federal law • Handle residential and limited commercial transaction underwriting • Present online and in-person training seminars for title agents and production staff • Provide outstanding customer service while making sound underwriting decisions • Handle high-volume underwriting inquiries by email and telephone promptly and professionally • Analyze and respond to indemnity requests • Travel with sales staff for agent visits throughout Tennessee • Work effectively in a remote team environment

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree • Minimum 3 years of experience concentrated in Tennessee real property and title insurance • Must be a member in good standing with the Tennessee Bar • Thorough knowledge of Tennessee real property law and related areas applicable to real property transactions • Knowledge of the Tennessee title insurance industry • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Relationship building • Problem-solving • Decision-making • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
