📋 Description

• Provide strategic guidance for compliant, safe, and efficient handling and processing of contracted waste streams • Monitor operational efficiency and cost goals using cost-tracking tools and invoice reviews • Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities while fulfilling contractual obligations • Advise hospital staff on safely and compliantly managing contracted waste streams • Serve as the primary liaison for contracted waste streams • Provide expert guidance on EPA, DOT, DEA, and state or local waste regulations • Conduct customer surveys to identify compliance gaps and waste segregation opportunities using the Virtual Compliance Partner application • Project-manage implementation of compliance-based services, including schedules, coordination, and communication • Develop and deliver customized training for contract implementation and maintenance • Schedule and complete customer-facing activities focused on service satisfaction, relationship building, operational efficiency, and profitability • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, or equivalent related work experience • Excellent working knowledge of medical waste issues and the healthcare industry • Consultative skills to effectively deal with customers • Confidence with public speaking duties • Bachelor's Degree with experience in healthcare discipline preferred • Detailed knowledge of OSHA, EPA-RCRA, U.S. DOT, and/or The Joint Commission Standards preferred • Ability to travel to local customer sites • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative for air travel or federal property access
