• Develop and maintain production, cleaning, equipment maintenance, equipment installation, and maintenance SOPs for each collection site • Travel to assigned collection plants • Submit written reports after each visit and distribute them to APC leadership and collection site contacts • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment at collection sites • Ensure collection plants produce quality plasma • Act as a point of contact with collection site employees • Collect samples throughout the plasma collection system to assure quality plasma production • Work in areas assigned by management when not traveling • Be available on short notice to visit and troubleshoot collection sites • Assist with construction of new collection sites and installation of new equipment • Troubleshoot and program PLC/PLC-operated equipment • Maintain the company vehicle • Assist with special or ongoing projects as instructed by the Field Tech Services Manager • Assist in other work-related areas as requested
• Travel required between 75–100% • Reside in Eastern Nebraska • Associates, Bachelors, or Technical/Vocational degree in Industrial Technology, Maintenance, Engineering, or related field preferred • 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred • Valid driver’s license • Working knowledge of collection sites, plasma equipment operation, and equipment maintenance • Knowledge of site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements • Ability to troubleshoot and program PLC/PLC-operated equipment • Ability to weld stainless steel, work on pumps, operate reverse osmosis systems, and possess general knowledge of refrigeration systems, centrifuges, and PLC controllers • Basic knowledge of plumbing, metal fabrication, and carpentry • Ability to operate forklifts, welders, hand wrenches, power tools, and cutting torches • Ability to read, write, and understand English • Basic analytical ability to determine appropriate maintenance procedures • Knowledge and ability to implement safety techniques • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license • Ability to interpret oral and written instructions • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with APC personnel, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other business contacts • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and determine work assignments and methods • Ability to remain calm and professional • Ability to operate computers, telephones, fax machines, and other office equipment • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Ability to work daily, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary • Physical ability to stand, walk continuously, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach above shoulder, climb, work at heights, lift and weigh 1–100 pounds, operate machinery and vehicles, read gauges, use office equipment and computers, and perform frequent hand and foot movements • Good vision and hearing, corrected to normal if needed • Ability to remain mobile throughout required work areas • Ability to operate a company vehicle and industrial equipment
