📋 Description

• Manage account posting and/or receivable and collection activities to maximize income from services rendered • Provide reporting on account reimbursement and/or A/R activity • Forecast income budgets • Implement service orientation for the patient accounts office • Develop and maintain systems for account management, data entry, collections and general A/R operations • Develop income projections and long-range plans • Provide monthly income, cost center and ad hoc reporting to the Business Manager • Maintain an environment and training opportunities supporting staff growth and development • Oversee office staffing and ensure appropriate staffing levels • Guide assistant managers in meeting monthly and annual goals • Maintain and update the master fee schedule • Prepare and monitor annual patient accounts income and expense budgets under the Business Manager's direction • Liaise with third-party payers, vendors, medical center personnel, patients and/or families in problem situations • Assist with A/R charge and collection policies • Assist with third-party payer contract negotiations • Assist supervisors in recruiting personnel

🎯 Requirements
