📋 Description

• Advise students and parents regarding financial aid programs, eligibility, application procedures, and loan and grant awarding processes • Interview prospective students and assist with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) • Retrieve the EFC and determine need for state and federal financial aid programs • Provide students with individualized financial aid packages • Process financial aid applications and determine eligibility • Send notifications about incomplete applications and request required documentation • Calculate financial need based on eligibility and cost of attendance • Provide loan advising to students • Analyze and understand federal and state regulations to ensure Title IV compliance • Interface with Admissions, Student Services, faculty, and other staff • Complete second-year packaging and required enrollment paperwork • Complete exit interviews for students graduating or withdrawing • File exit interview paperwork in student files • Present to prospective and current students • Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus President • Meet organization goals and adapt responsibilities or methods as directed by management

• Strong computer skills • Ability to multi-task and manage projects • Problem solving and critical thinking skills • Customer service oriented • Effective communication skills • Associate degree within accounting, finance or related field (preferred but not required) • Some experience within a related field (preferred)
