📋 Description

• Support Pharmacy Department operational efficiency through fiscal management, data analysis, and departmental statistics and reports • Perform billing, accounting, financial reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Review medication purchases, revenue, contract pharmacy fees, pricing, compliance, and savings opportunities • Coordinate 340B split billing, split matching, contract pharmacy tracking, and financial reporting across System entities • Generate budget, expense, pharmacy spend advisor, cost savings, and year-end reports • Provide data supporting drug utilization, purchasing, billing, reimbursement, and performance improvement • Identify irregular spending, system failures, negative 340B accumulation, and opportunities for practice changes • Collaborate with pharmacy management, hospital departments, vendors, and the System Director of Pharmacies • Support budgets, external audits, departmental goals, committees, task forces, projects, and education of 340B professionals • Maintain financial records, policies and procedures, safeguards, system integrity, ordering processes, invoices, shipping, and inventory processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Hospital Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field and two years of pharmacy or healthcare experience, or one year of pharmacy financial reporting experience • Associate degree in a related field and four years of pharmacy or healthcare experience, or three years of pharmacy financial reporting experience • High school diploma and eight years of experience in a healthcare setting • Two years of experience in a professional healthcare capacity, preferably in Pharmacy • Must have a pharmacy technician license • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access • Ability to walk and stand for long periods • Ability to lift 30 pounds and push 50 pounds • Dexterity to finger, handle, and reach
