📋 Description

• Schedule, cancel, reschedule, and register outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics • Collect all necessary information for scheduling and registration preparation • Obtain and verify patient guarantor information at least annually • Generate referrals when needed and maintain up-to-date patient records • Schedule and register patients according to scheduling guidelines and medical appropriateness • Identify and communicate scheduling modifications and development needs • Notify appropriate personnel of scheduling changes caused by cancellations • Respond to patient and staff needs and complaints, involving supervisors and patient representatives as needed • Consult referring physician offices to obtain and verify complete written or electronic orders • Complete Workques and daily scheduling-area tasks • Respond to patient communications promptly • Escalate immediate needs to the appropriate area of responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas • Ability to sit for extended periods of time • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work 40 scheduled hours weekly
