📋 Description

• Develop application code for use cases and review code • Conduct security assessments and resolve security findings involving CVEs, libraries, and web scanning tools • Triage, reproduce, and resolve bugs identified by users and the team • Manage infrastructure, including CI/CD deployment processes, scaling analysis, and operations and maintenance • Support user requests by answering application questions, resolving bugs, and researching issues and discrepancies • Develop, maintain, support, and improve current and new metadata systems with a team of developers • Work on data management/harvest systems, information discovery tools, reporting and analysis, and metadata entry and management • Ramp up and train on development across various applications during the first 30 days • Complete multiple development and bug tickets during the first 60 days • Become a fully integrated team member within the first 90 days

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 minimum years of developer experience • Must be a US Citizen to meet government contract requirements • Must be able to obtain and maintain a position of Public Trust clearance • Python and Flask experience • Testing experience with UI Playwright and pytest unit testing • Preferred: Data metadata standards (CSDGM, ISO, DCAT) usage or implementation • Preferred: Cloud.gov usage or support (or Cloud Foundry) • Preferred: GitHub code development, including ticket management, Actions, and branching • Preferred: Security assessment of CVEs and upgrades/fixes • Preferred: Data management/pipeline experience (ETL) • Preferred: Jinja2 templating library • Preferred: Experience with the New Relic monitoring tool
