📋 Description

• Oversee daily cash management operations and monitor cash positions • Complete monthly reconciliations of assigned bank accounts • Execute assigned monthly journal entries and bookkeeping tasks • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for senior leadership • Reconcile balance sheet accounts before and after close according to deadlines • Issue and reconcile customer bills • Work with customers on billing questions and discrepancies • Build, standardize, and continuously improve accounting processes, workflows, and control documentation • Support annual external audits • Assist finance leadership with developing, compiling, and analyzing annual organizational and departmental budgets • Monitor monthly budget-to-actual variances and investigate discrepancies with finance team members and department leaders • Execute other accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve

🎯 Requirements

• Proven functional experience in corporate accounting, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation workflows • Strong command of accounting systems/ERP software • Experience with payroll management applications • Advanced Excel capabilities, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables • Knowledge of NYS sales tax regulations • Knowledge of payroll tax processing • Knowledge of GAAP standards • Exceptional attention to detail • Strict confidentiality adherence • Robust analytical problem-solving skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required • Minimum of three (3) years of professional employment within an accounting or corporate business environment • Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. as needed
