📋 Description

• Schedule meetings with major donors from assigned donor and prospect lists • Conduct outreach primarily by phone, with follow-up via text and email • Document all outreach activity and donor interactions thoroughly in CRM systems • Research donor prospects to identify high-capacity individuals • Prepare and submit donor research reports to the Donor Relations team • Make thank-you calls for recent contributions • Conduct discovery calls with new YAL donors • Directly solicit donations from provided donor lists • Complete assigned books and training materials • Participate actively in training sessions, take detailed notes, and apply feedback • Report directly to the Director of Donor Advancement and work closely with the Donor Relations team • Support major donor fundraising efforts for YAL and Young Americans for Liberty Foundation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track calls, emails, texts, and notes with accuracy and consistency • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking on the phone and engaging new contacts • Alignment with YAL’s mission and a genuine belief in the principles of individual liberty • Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct basic research and summarize findings clearly • Professional, respectful, and tactful in all communications • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and willing to learn CRM systems and outreach tools • Able to manage assigned outreach lists and follow through on tasks without constant oversight • Coachable, growth-oriented, and eager to develop new skills in fundraising and donor communication • Able to work 20 hours per week for the six-month temporary term • Must submit a cover letter and resume
